Project Description:
The Chown Memorial Parking garage had severe deterioration running through the main stairwell and through to the T-Stem Beams around the Garage.
B.E. Construction was responsible for repairs and sealing penetrations starting with the curb from the top parking down and repairing all the beams down to P1. Concrete repairs included Vertical and Column Repairs as well as Soffit Repairs where required
Remarks:
Due to the heavy deterioration on the T-Stem Beams and the depth of repair required, B.E. was tasked with providing a shoring design which captured loads all the way to the slab on grade and even included building a platform on grade for load distribution.
